I really need to start doing my blog entry earlier in the evening. I almost missed tonight because I was dozing off again. So just a quick word on how I do my pictures. It may seem trivial but it works.
Basically, my camera has a 10 second timer feature. So I activate that. Then I find a flat surface to set the camera on. Hit the button and take about 3 large paces back. Wait a moment and viola. Taking care to smile and hope myself upright. Then I download the pictures from the camera, and crop out from about mid chest level up to just above the head and just inside the outside of the shoulder.
And that's it in a nutshell...
One day a young Buddhist on his journey home, came to the banks of a wide river. Staring hopelessly at the great obstacle in front of him, he pondered for hours on just how to cross such a wide barrier. Just as he was about to give up his pursuit to continue his journey he saw a great teacher on the other side of the river. The young Buddhist yells over to the teacher "Oh wise one, can you tell me how to get to the other side of this river"?
The teacher ponders for a moment looks up and down the river and yells back "My son, you are on the other side"
