Or to put it another way... Southwest, MARC and Beth's Car. (Beth is my sister...)

As I mentioned in my test post (which was successfully done with email...) I'm going to be travelling to DC to see my family. I'll be flying Southwest out of Albany (which is about an hour and a half from home) to BWI. Once there I'll take the MARC (Maryland Area Rail Commuter?) to Union Station. Then I'll hop the Metro (The Subway system that serves the Greater DC area) to Rockville to see my family.

So now that I know I can email my posting I will remain in touch. I might even try some micro-posting. But that seems a little too Web 2.0 and a bit less of the journal / diary I've been trying to achieve. That said... who said you couldn't just jot something in your journal throughout the day... Hmm...
