Calvin and Hobbes is one of the first comics I can remember consciously chosing to read and seek out. Calvin was a six year old boy that got away with stuff that I wish I could have gotten away with. His stuffed tiger (who came to life when nobody was watching) was his inner thoughts, his conscience, his best friend and his imagination all rolled up into one. Calvin lived in a world where transmogrification and time travel coexisted with sledding, deep thoughts and dinosaurs. A world that Susie Derkins existed in only to torment where his teacher and his parents had to fear what was coming next. Sadly this comic is no longer being made which means that we can never hope to have the "Noodle Incidient" explained.
You know what I always say... A smile is just a grimace that's been edited for public consumption.

I feel strongly that the visual arts are of vast importance. Of course, I could be prejudiced. I am a visual art.
